It's been so hot lately!!!

We caved and bought a window AC unit today. It was $135, plus $15 more for the plexiglass and tape required by our apartment complex. It's a small 5000 BTU unit so it doesn't cool the entire apartment, but it's helped a heaping ton all together. We put our box fan in our bedroom window. We're gonna see how that works. If it does well, I'm thinking about putting the rotating stand-up fan in the bathroom. Boy, does it get hot in there! Just washing my hands is like doing so in a sauna! (Okay, exaggerating a bit, but you get the idea.) We just now have to wait for maitenance to come check our unit to make sure it's installed properly. Ethan just sent the email, so hopefully they'll come by tomorrow and give us a thumbs up.
